The Achimota School Capital Campaign
The goal of the campaign is to help restore Achimota
School through the building of awareness, the creation
of a strong donor community, and the raising of funds.
The Campaign is a multi year initiative to restore one of
West Africa's leading institutions, Achimota. Friends,
Alumni and corporations from around the world who
support this cause live the mission of creating a new
model of self-sufficiency for a beloved institution.
The Campaign, in line with current rates of participation,
has a target of US $1 million by the end of 2010. The
Campaign is working with donors in over 10 countries to
meet this goal.
In just over a year, the Campaign has brought
Achimota's plight to the attention of a wide audience
including alumni, policymakers, and interested
individuals. More than US $128,000 has been given by a
